Nancy E. Warner

Warner helps prevent illness

Nancy E. Warner is a nurse practitioner for Jackson Medical Group, a practice she has worked in for 10 years. She operates primarily out of Jackson’s Carpinteria office, specializing in primary medical care diagnoses and preventative medicine, treating acute and chronic illnesses.

Emergency cases she handles include acute asthma attacks, falls and possible fractures. Warner treats a number of women’s issues, and she brings a personal touch to her work, providing one-on-one time with patients and referring them to classes or other helpful services. She interacts with the families of patients, especially for the elderly, and stays in close communication.

Warner has been a nurse practitioner since 1978, and has worked in New Mexico and for U.S. Public Health services in Southern California. She moved to Santa Barbara in 1983 and first worked for Sansum Clinic and its predecessor MediCenter.

Warner received a bachelor’s degree from Skidmore College and a master’s from Boston University. She previously taught at the Santa Barbara College of Oriental Medicine.
