PA-C

PA-C - This stands for Physician Assistant-Certified. P.A.s complete four years of college, followed by a two-year medical training program that includes numerous clinical rotations. Most P.A. programs also require two years of employment in a medical back office or hospital setting as a condition of admission. P.A.s work in association with a physician.
