JMG has a new office!
Our new Santa Barbara facility at 517 West Junipero St. is open for patient care (right around the corner from our former Oak Park Lane office). Some introductions
We are very pleased to be able to reintroduce our new Physician Assistant, Amoret Lifquist. Amoret was part of the JMG clinical team as a medical assistant for several years, during and after her undergraduate attendance at UCSB. She left JMG when she was accepted at the Northeastern University Physician Assistant program. After receiving her degree, she spent two years as a PA at the Buenaventura urgent care facility in Ventura. We are very fortunate to have her back with us at JMG.

Jackson Medical Group, Inc. is delighted to welcome Charles Stanley Nowak, D.O. to our team of health care providers. We take special pride in the fact that Dr.Nowak is a native of the Santa Barbara area where he attended local Goleta schools and graduated from UCSB with a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, before leaving to pursue his medical education. (He even recalls being a patient of Dr. Jackson’s at the age of 9—although Dr. Jackson won’t admit to being old enough to substantiate that allegation!)

Dr. Nowak received his D.O. degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. He did his Family Medicine training at St. John’s Health System in Madison Heights, Michigan, where he was Intern of the Year in 1999, and ultimately Chief Resident of the program in 2001. Since 2001, Dr. Nowak has practiced Family Medicine in Port Huron and East China, Michigan. He is Board Certified and a member of both the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians.

In other JMG provider news . . . Dr. Elizabeth Cardinale, who joined our group as a part-time Internist in July 2008, will be on maternity leave after January 23. We wish her all the best health and happiness as she becomes a first-time mom. In her absence, Drs. Guddal and Nowak will see her patients in Goleta, while Dr. Cummings and physician assistants Karen Hanna, PA-C and Amoret Pritchard, PA-C are available in our new Santa Barbara office. Nancy Warner, FNP continues to practice in Carpinteria Monday through Thursday, and on a limited basis in Goleta on Fridays.
